One thing that has truly struck me about Italy is their “less is more” approach to life and beauty.
They focus on superior quality over quantity—whether it’s the fresh ingredients in their food or the luxurious materials in their fashion.
This philosophy resonates deeply with the ethos of Savor Beauty. It has inspired me to continue prioritizing simplicity and quality—not just in our skincare ingredients, but in the quality relationships we cultivate with all of you, our community.
Looking forward to bringing a bit of this Italian elegance back home!

Day 1: Monaco to Sanremo, Italy
After a quick exploration of Monaco’s winding streets, we’ve crossed into Italy—my first time here, and I’m already smitten. ❤️
We have only one goal in mind besides soaking in la dolce vita: Ali is on a mission to find the best tiramisu.

Day 2: Sanremo
We’re in the “City of Flowers,” a beautiful coastal town. To me, it feels more like the city of cute off-leash dogs and fantastical trees.
The beach here is perfect, with colorful umbrellas and gentle waves for a peaceful swim.
We’ve been enjoying espresso breaks at cafe bars and wandering through La Pigna, Sanremo’s colorful medieval old town, with its narrow streets and ancient arches.
If you ever visit, stay at the Royale Hotel Sanremo , a historic hotel over 150 years old, with stunning sea views. (And don’t miss the “emotional showers” in the spa—trust me, it’s a must-try!)
You also have to go to Senese Pizza Napoletana for the BEST quattro formaggi pizza; with chunks of melted cheese, each bite was an explosion of taste, making this hands-down the best we’ve ever eaten.
Oh, and if you have time, take a stroll along the magical Pista Ciclabile, an old train path transformed into a coastal promenade, lined with majestic fairy-tale trees. This pictured tree reminds me of the ones in Monet’s famous paintings!
Ciao for now!

Day 3: Levanto
Thinking of visiting the famous Cinque Terre? I’ve got the perfect magical itinerary for you!
My recommendation is to stay in Levanto. Just a short drive or train ride from Cinque Terre, Levanto is a perfect escape from the crowds of tourists.
You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds—close enough to explore the famous spots, but far enough that you're able to to bask in the tranquility and charm of a true Italian getaway.
We are staying at Angiolina Farmhouse , a true gem with breathtaking views, the most welcoming hosts, and homemade meals from their farm.
The salty sea and hot sun has made my skin parch-dry and craving some love. I laid out my numbered skincare in the bathroom, and did a leave-on Chamomile Moisture Mask, followed by a facial massage with the soothing Blue Tansy Serum and Truffle Face Cream.
My skin instantly felt hydrated and soft again!

Day 3: Exploring Cinque Terra
Took the train from Levanto to Cinque Terra. It was swarming with tourists, making us feel like we were in Times Square, so we attempted to escape with a mountain hike between the second and third towns. The view was magnificent!
The sun got the better of me, and the steep hill lost its charm halfway through. So in the spirit of soft life travels, we opted to head back to the peace of Levanto, where we savored a delicious Ligurian meal in a local family-owned restaurant.

Day 4: Cinque Terra by Sea
Normally, I’m not much of a boat person, but the calm Mediterranean waters and the stunning sunset views were pure magic. I even worked up the courage to plunge into the deep sea for an exhilarating swim!
Here’s to savoring each moment and finding beauty in the unexpected. 🥂

Day 5: Pavia
If you’re flying out of Italy from Milan and want to skip staying in a big city, I’ve got the perfect palace for you, just one hour away from the airport!
Our road trip took us through gorgeous mountain scenery before arriving in Pavia—a charming town with one of the oldest universities in the world, dating back to 1361.
We are staying at Arnaboldi Palace, right in the middle of the town. Paolo, the owner, took us on a tour and shared his story of purchasing this palace to refurbish it back to it's former glory.
Susannah, the resident dog, made us feel like we were in our fairy-tale home.
For our last Italian meal, Paolo recommended his friend’s restaurant, Vita, where we devoured the most tender steak, Focaccia di Recco (a local specialty), and, of course, Ali’s favorite—his sixteenth tiramisu in just five days!
Now, we’re at Milan airport, ready to jet off to Morocco.
Grazie, Italy, for the amazing food, stunning views, and beautiful roadtrip memories.
Ciao!
