The Korean beauty acne strategy is radically different from the rest of the world.
When you think of how to treat a breakout, the first thing that might come to mind is, “How can I dry out my face in order to prevent the breakout?”
Dermatologists in Korea, on the other hand, are always recommending to increase hydration in order to reduce inflammation that aggravates the pimple under the surface.
In other words, the radical difference is that hydration helps to clear skin, and if you zero in on calming ingredients, you heal versus cover up the blemish.
0. Warm a quarter-size amount of Kalahari Melon Cleansing Oil between palms, apply in circular motions. For best results, double cleanse by massaging a Savor Beauty Cleanser on top before rinsing off with warm water. Pat dry with a clean, soft towel.
1. For sensitive skin that is prone to redness or inflammation, choose the Pearl Cleansing Cream.
2. With clean fingers or a mask brush, apply the Yuzu Lemonade Peel all over cleansed skin. Leave for up to 30 seconds, and remove thoroughly with moist cotton pads or a soft towel. Follow with a Lavender Toning Mist to calm, soothe and balance skin's pH. Use once a week
3. Naturally antiseptic Tea Tree Toning Mist kills bacteria, while Lavender Toning Mist soothes inflammation and active breakouts.
4. Apply 1/2-1 pump of Pumpkin Serum mixed with 2-3 spritzes of Savor Beauty's alcohol-free toner. Pat + press onto skin. This reduces redness and reduces hyperpigmentation (dark spots) from acne scarring. Contains active omega fatty acids, vitamins A, C, E, and zinc.
5. Use Truffle Face Cream AM + PM our formula for Oily Skin helps you control sebum production. A complex of 7 vitamins & minerals with B vitamins improve radiance and tone.
6. Apply a pea-sized amount of the Pomegranate Peptide Eye Serum to the tips of your ring fingers and gently tap around the eye area and up to the brow to stimulate and depuff. May be layered under Caviar Eye Cream for a more decadent overnight treatment.
